From 22 to 29 January 2020, we celebrated Chinese New Year as Executive Chef Joel Bickford and his team created a special six-course, Chinese-inspired degustation to celebrate the Lunar New Year.



The limited-edition menu showcased prestige ingredients to match the dining room’s prestige view of the Opera House.




"The inspiration behind the menu we created was RED, to signify Chinese New Year. Some of the amazing ingredients gusts enjoyed as part of the menu are South Australian rock lobster, Oscietra caviar, Abalone, king oyster mushroom, Red Emperor, Maremma duck and gold leaf. The menu differed from our standard menu as all the dishes were specially designed for the celebration." - Chef Joel Bickford

Choice of wine matching:

with prestige wine pairing $588 p.p.
with classic wine pairing $388 p.p.
with non-alcoholic matching  $338 p.p.



Guests received a special red envelope at the end of their Chinese New Year experience, inviting them to enjoy additional experiences across a selection of Matt Moran Restaurants*. Minimum spend of $500 at Aria to receive the red envelope.
